Data8 Acquires Team Knowledge
Data8, the Data Quality Company and leading provider of integrated data solutions, has announced the acquisition of Team Knowledge Ltd, publisher of the market leading TKDialogs software. The acquisition strengthens Data8’s position and continues its intention to grow the business through organic expansion and acquisition.
TKDialogs is an advanced, logic driven user interface that allows users to reduce the complexity of a system and improve user adoption by using defined and simple processes to complete their daily tasks. Used extensively worldwide, inside companies and online, TKDialogs can easily convert call handling and scripting requirements into a user-friendly front end. The No Code software allows companies to simplify complex processes, reduce training time and improve the customer journey.
Antony Allen, Managing Director, Data8 Ltd, says: “We are very excited to be able to feature TKDialogs as part of our expanding portfolio. This software will improve the user adoption of many complex systems and CRM databases. The No Code approach used in this solution was an important factor in this acquisition as it makes the design, scripting and publishing of defined processes a simple task, that doesn’t require costly IT support and development”.
Data8 is a Microsoft Gold Partner established in 2005 with its headquarters in Cheshire in the UK and operating worldwide. Recent product launches include Data8 DuplicareTM
and Data8 ProvenanceTM
, two innovative solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to maintain data hygiene, ensure compliance and maximise return on investment.
“This acquisition presents a real opportunity for Data8, we are in a financially strong position to further develop our presence in customer relationship management solutions. The TKDialogs team of technical experts will be co-located with our own team in Chester before year-end and I’m certain that we will benefit from their significant experience and technical know-how. Our investment in and support of the North West economy over the past 15 years continues and we have some exciting plans for further growth.” Allen continues.
Microsoft has deprecated their Dialogs product within Dynamics 365 CRM and users worldwide are currently looking for alternatives. TKDialogs is a natural replacement solution for MS Dialogs offering even more features and capability. The TKDialogs Builder effortlessly creates reusable user processes of any complexity and integrates fully with Dynamics 365 for Customer Engagement (CRM) data through the Common Data Service (CDS). Data from SharePoint and other data sources can be included, and developers can create pages of rich content with comprehensive input validation. This process automation can be used for contact centre agent scripts or can be deployed to a website for customer/supplier self-service.
“There are synergies to be had in the Microsoft space and TKDialogs will enable us to add value to our clients’ CRM systems, allowing them to define business logic, user inputs and links to data sources without software development. And with our own data cleansing and enhancement capabilities, we can now offer one of the most robust data and CRM solution services in the world, all developed and supported in-house”, Allen concludes.
